CATS wins BIG at the Elly Awards

September 26th, 2010 at the Crest Theatre in Sacramento!

Our 2010 production of SNOW FALLING ON CEDARS won the "Best Overall Production in a Drama" in the Sacramento region! This is the award that truly honors the efforts of everyone involved in the production -- from the cast and crew, to the directors and designers, to the administrative staff and behind-the-scene workers and volunteers. This one is for YOU!

In addition, Ellys were awarded to Chris Goetzke for Best Lighting Design and to Pam Hodges and Michael Baranowski for Best Set Design. Elly nominees also included Diane Fetterly for Supporting Actress, Lyra Dominguez for Lead Actress, Sovahn LeBlanc for Costume Design, and Kevin McKeon for Director.

September 2000:

CATS won all 3 nominations for the Elly Awards

BEST LIGHTING DESIGNER in a DRAMA: CHRIS GOETZKE

BEST COSTUMER DESIGNER in a DRAMA: CATHERINE IONE

January 2000:

CATS was awarded the Dr. Leland and Sally Lewis Performing Arts Award by the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce for outstanding achievement in bringing artistic and cultural enrichment to Nevada County.

May 1999:

Lisa Moon, Artistic Director and President of CATS, was honored as the "Entrepreneur of the Arts" by the May Martin Goyne Outstanding Women in the Arts.
